The organizers of the Africa International Film Festival, which is held in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, have extended their submissions deadline for this year’s festival to August 30, 2011.

Founded in 2009, the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF)
has a vision to create a platform for the world to zoom in on the
diversity and creativity of Africa through motion pictures.
Eligible films must have been produced after January 1, 2011 and preference will be given to films which are yet to be screened globally or in Africa. Categories include Feature, Short, Documentary and Animation.
