Tapati Dutta, an associate instructor and research assistant for the IU School of Public Health-Bloomington, is one of five women chosen to speak at the inaugural TEDxIndianapoisWomen event on November 29, 2018, in Indianapolis.
From personal survival goals to assisting community agencies, Dutta will be speaking about how connecting the dots of her wide-ranging life events has led her on an adventurous journey. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate and holds master’s degrees in Social Work and Population Studies.
The theme of the TEDxIndianapolisWomen event is Showing Up, featuring diverse individuals in business, technology, art, science, and humanities meeting challenges head-on while empowering each other to shape the future. In addition to the local speakers, the Indianapolis event will livestream from the TEDWomen event in Palm Springs, California.
